Madden Hall Of Fame Enshrinement 2005
Nominations For The 2005 Class Now Open

Members and friends of the MWS community may begin nominating individuals for the Madden Hall Of Fame starting June 6, 2004 here at the home of Madden Players Hall of Fame, the MWS.com. Nominations will be submitted online, electronically to the Hall of Fame voting committee. Before an individual can be considered for the Hall, they must meet the stated criteria for eligibility. Nominations that do not meet the criteria will be discarded and not given consideration. The nomination process will last for 2 weeks, from June 6 - 20. From that point, the names of the nominees that have met the criteria shall be forwarded to the Hall of Fame voting committee. After the votes have been tabulated, the 2005 class will be announced at Nationals 7 at the first ever Hall of Fame Enshrinement Dinner July 15, 2005. Community members may cast their nominations below.

Madden Hall of Fame Criteria and Eligibility Requirements

• Candidate must be actively involved in Madden competition or service through events such as MWS tournaments, MWS leagues or other approved Madden leagues or events for a period of no less than 3 years.
• The executive committee will make the final decision on eligibility.
• Competitive eligibility will be based on the following: Won at least one National Championship, finished in the elite 8 or higher at Nationals, finished in an elite 8 or higher at an EA Challenge finals, or final 4 finish at a community major.
• MWS League or Online League Championship
• The member must also have maintained competitive status in a MWS Off-line league for a continuous 3-year period, or continuous competitive ranking over a 5-year period of online play. This person must have consistently maintained a high level of competitive excellence and achievement over a three year period.
• Service eligibility will be based on the value of individual contributions made to the Madden community in a manner that has further promoted the game of Madden and advanced the development of the Madden Community. This would also be over a 5 year period with at least 3 years continuous.
• A member of the Madden Community must meet a minimum of 3 of the criteria set forth to be considered an “official” nominee for consideration. If he meets the stated requirements, his application is sent to a sub committee made up from at least 5 MWS selection members. He would then need a vote of at least 3 of those 5 members to forward his application to the full MWS Selection committee before he could be considered.
• Each voting committee member will vote for no more than five eligible people. To enter the Hall of Fame, a nominee must receive 12 of the 18 votes from the MWS Selection committee.
