Madden Players Hall of Fame History

Established in 2005, the Madden Players Hall of Fame is the brainchild of Madden community founder The Swammi. The Hall was established to highlight the significant contributions in the areas of competition and service that selected individuals have made to advance and further promote the game of Madden. The vision gained momentum when Swammi presented the idea to Madden community mainstay 3rd & Long. 3rd, a member of the community since 1998 partnered with Alan "Air Attack" Curry another veteran of the community (since 1997) and the two of them developed the foundation of the Hall which includes the nomination board, the general eligibility requirements and the voting process.

2005 will feature the first class of enshrinees. To cap off the selection process, the Hall of Fame Banquet and Awards Ceremony will be held to honor the inductees, as well as recognize the outstanding accomplishments of players currently on the competitive circuit. The goal of the Hall is to create a historical archive that will not only highlight the accomplishments of select individuals, but also preserve those accomplishments to share with Madden players of future generations.
