The PFL draft is Aug 31st and the INSIDER thought we would give you a look in the world of drafting and our picks of the best and worst teams available. We will start with the worst 8 picks and check us out each day for the next best 8 picks.

How did we come up with our 8 picks? We did not look at overall ratings because they can be misleading. We looked at team defense, running game, which includes the O line, and the passing game.

If you are drafting in the bottom 16-24, expect to see some of the following teams available to you unless somebody gets crazy and drafts one of these teams early.

24. Cowboys - Can you say D? The Cowboys have one of the better D’s on the game this year. However it will take more than D to win this year. I think if you take this pick higher than 24 expect trouble moving the ball as the season moves on. They lack speed at all the skill positions.

23. Detroit - This is a team with a lot of good pieces that could go a little higher. Great WR’S, 2 decent backs. Good mobile QB and nice D....I like this team, but not higher than 23 though. Still have concerns about the D line play, and lack of a quality TE.

23. Bengals - Here is a team a quality team in a winnable division. The Bengals have a nice run game and very good WR play. 2 solid QB’S and a decent D line. Concerns are the secondary and O line.

21. Steelers -The Bus is running like a mini van, but it is still moving great. TE’S nor Hines don’t drop anything thrown at him. You would have to make some changes in the depth chart to get the correct players on the field however. CB play is better than people think with this team. They are a solid pick at 21. I think they may go a little higher though.

21. NY Giants - Shock-Shock-Shock. Outside of Vick and Moss this has to be the most dominating player on the game. Can’t be covered with a LB because it causes too many match up problems. They have 2 nice QB’S and 2 nice RB’S. O line is a little down but a great Dline and LB play. Solid pick at number 20.

19. Tampa Bay - Mcardell is not playing for the Bucs in the NFL, but on the game he is solid. Along with Clayton, Galloway, Tim Brown, Jurevicius, and Brad Johnson they make for a nice throw and catch tandem. Rice and Brooks are stand out players on D makes.....this an easy pick at 19.

18. Seahawks - DEFENCE? They got it! Very hard to move the ball on this team. They are solid up front and solid in the secondary as well. A top 5 running back and very good QB. However, the WR’S still drop too many passes.

17. Redskins - I love this team, however the only thing they lack from being a top 10 team is a pass rush. They don’t have any type of D-line pressure; Speed at LB will make you have to blitz more because of the poor DL play. Good WR’S and good O line play makes this the best of the bottom 16 teams.
