The PFL draft is Aug 31st and the INSIDER thought we would give you a look in the world of drafting and our picks of the best and worst teams available. We will start with the worst 8 picks and check us out each day for the next best 8 picks.

How did we come up with our 8 picks? We did not look at overall ratings because they can be misleading. We looked at team defense, running game, which includes the O line, and the passing game.

If you are drafting in the 8-16 range lucky you, no doubt you will get a good team. Look for some of the following teams available.

16. Ravens - The Ravens have and outstanding D and an outstanding running game. However the WR’S will make you cry. So you will have to work with Heap and the running game to get points. The good thing is you won't give up many points.

15. Titans - Good sound secondary, one of the best in the game. Will miss Javon on the DL, but McNair gives you a scrambling QB with good speed.....a must for many players. I Don’t think the running game will hold up and the passing game is still a little suspect.

14. Denver - Here's a team with a nice passing game and very decent running game. I find the D is a little above average with no passing rushing D end. But they have a stud in Trevor Price one of the top 3 in the game. But the Broncs do lack the speed you would want at DE.

13. Bills - Here's a team with a top rated D, number 1 in the NFL last year, 2 good running backs and a good WR"S. Still no pass rush from the DL and only one true go to WR. May go in the top ten because of secondary and LB play.

12. Panthers - Many people have them rated very high perhaps even top 5. I don’t get it. I know about the D and Stephen Davis, but this is not a top ten team. The WR’S are average at best....Smith is too small, and the Secondary is not up to what you would expect of a top team. 12 pick overall in my opinion.

11. Rams - A bit of a sleeper team for me, many people don’t play with or like the "Lambs." I think along with the OL they have and Faulk and company and that could make it tough for many teams out there. They are the best team in a soft division and they should be there at 11.

10. Raiders - Now we start talking about the top ten teams on the game. DA Raiders sport a great D featuring Sapp at the D end. Throw in Big Ted, and it makes for a tough time for opponents trying to establish the run. The backs are better than average, excellent TE play and big sure handed WR’S. Quality depth at QB and big-footed kicker. They are a top 10 team.

Great back in Freddie T. WR’S are big and strong big strong CB’s the Dline can’t be moved and Leftwich is the real deal. I think this team will do good in the NFL season expect them to get some love from Madden on the updates.
