TV Broadcast Schedule Week Of August 9
Tuesday August
17 - 9:00 PM ET
Nationals II Championship: Winky White v.
Candyman
Arguably one of the best championship games ever played, Winky White was
the hands down favorite to win Nationals II before a young no name upstart
by the name of Candyman took the community by storm. This dramatic overtime
thriller was nip & tuck all the way until the end when White seems
a cinch to win it in the closing seconds with a FG. But a costly fumble
by White at the goaline gave Candyman new life, and a shot to take the
game into overtime. That was all he needed as the Houston native drove
the ball down to kick the GW FG, and be crowned the 2nd National Champion
to the amazement and astonishment of everyone in the room.
Wednesday
August 18 - 9:00 PM ET
Nationals III Championship: Ray Green v.
Lou Tillery
Catch the masterfully produced Nationals III documentary as captured through
the lenses of Slayer Min. Following that, see the Nationals III Championship
game between Ray Green and Lou Tillery. Green, fresh off one of the most
dazzling displays of stick control ever witnessed at a Nationals, was
the peoples favorite against the upstart Tillery, who many frowned upon
because of his controversial QB draw. But it was in this game that Tillery
proved that not only did he not need the QB draw to win, but he was destined
to becoming one of the great players in the game, dominating the tournament
circuit for the next two years.
Thursday August
19 - 9:00 PM ET
Nationals IV Championship: Lou Tillery v.
Ice Ellis
Allow the master of the lenses "L-Train" to place you right
in the middle of the action from the Embassy Suites at LAX as you witness
the rise to stardom of the 13 yr. old assassin, Reality, and the offensive
player of the year ICE ELLIS, who denied his fellow NOMB brother Lou Tillery
the chance at being the first back to back National Champion.
Friday August
20 - 9:00 PM ET
Nationals V Championship: Young Gunz v. The
Realist
These two young gunslingers battled it out before a capacity crowd at
the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, as The Realist pulled away late to
grab the 2003 National Championship. Gunz, arguably the best defensive
stick in the country, faced The Realist, arguably the most prolific offensive
player in the nation. And we were treated to a great game.
