Sanctioning An MWS Tournament
Getting
your tournament sanctioned by the MWS is an
easy process. Simply meet the guidelines stated
below and you are on your way.
- All
MWS Sanctioned Tournaments must be played
under the rules and policies of the MWS
Nationals Handbook. Tournaments played with
any type of deviation from the stated rules
without the express written consent of the
MWS board shall be considered null and void
as far as the MWS is concerned, thus the
results of the tournament shall be useless
and of no regard to the MWS in the area
of rankings, or any other business pertaining
to.
- The
host league or free agent must be an active
MWS member in good standing.
- An
application for sanctioning must be completed
and submitted to the MWS offices at least
15 in advance of the first day of competition.
The tournament officer or sponsor will be
notified by the Executive Board of the boards
decision.
- At
least 75% of the participants must be different
from any previous regional tournament sponsored.
(i.e., The same ballers cannot participate
in other tourneys in their region without
a variety of new players entering the tournament.)
- The
number of MWS members in a tournament must
be according to the scale set below in order
for that tournament to be sanctioned.

- All

to the MWS secretary for ranking points
