Quick 6 will work in conjunction with Afroman to form
the MNL. |
Afroman along with Quick Six announced last week the plans
to start an online Madden League set to begin play concurrent
with the 2002 NFL season. The MNL hopes to comprise itself
with ballers from all MWS affiliated Madden leagues with numerous
MWS free agents participating as well. "We forsee a 32
team league and a full 17 week season," stated Afroman
in regards to the format of the league.
There have been a number of notices sent to ballers however,
the MNL will be open to who is interested in participating
from the community since there were many e-mail addy's not
available.
If you are interested please provide the following information
to Afroman:
1. Are you interested in participating in an Online League?
2. Are you committed to...or do you already have DSL Or other
form of HIGH SPEED internet access?
The league will likely be a DSL only league. In addition,
plans to secure MWS sanctioning are in the works. And although
in its infancy discussions on building a web site devoted
to the MNL that will track a full 17 week MNL season of Madden
football are in the plans as well.
"We hope to fill all 32 teams and it is likely that
the team selection process will involve some sort of random
team selection," Afroman also included in the announcement.
"There are many details to work out before the game
comes out so we plan to start this early and attempt to be
prepared to get a season rolling approximately 2-4 weeks after
the game drops."
