Its All About League Pride

So you think your leauge is the best in the nation? Forget the talk, its time to let the sticks determine pound for pound who has the top league in the nation. That is why Nationals IV is proud to present: The Sweepstakes Battle For The Cup. Here is how it works.

Each league can form a four man team. If a league wishes to enter more than four members, it must field two seperate teams. (i.e. GT Philly A, and GT Philly B) Points will be assigned for each win that each member of the team earns. The further the team members advance in the tourney, the more points the team can accumulate. The team with the most points accumulated at the end of the tourney will win the Sweepstakes Cup. Its just that simple.

Point scale:

Round
Pts. Earned
RR Win 1
Survivor Sunday Round 1 2
Survivor Sunday Round 2 3
Sweet 16 Win 4
Final 8 Win 5
Final Four Win 6
Championship Game Win 9
Max Points Earned 30

Sample League Entries:

League Player 1 Player 2 Player 3 Player 4 Points
HOB Guru Blaze E* Widowmaker 65
MPL Team A J.Blaze Chuck Dogg Reality King Ryder 69
MPL Team B The GOAT Godfather Milkman Madden Dr. 42
UMF Aftershock MoNutt P.C. The Chairman 57

In the above chart you will notice a sample entry of two MPL teams, in addition to the HOB, and UMF. League points will be awarded to four man teams only. In other words, the MPL's team A and team B points cannot be combined. In essence, team A will be competing against team B in a sense. In this manner, larger leagues will not have an advantage over leagues with a smaller representatioin. Points for each baller will be accumlated and tallied and the team with the most points wins. Thus by the account of the above chart MPL Team A would win with a total of 69 earned points. The MPL's 42 earned points by Team B, did not factor into Team A's hypothetical win using this scenario.

The winning league will be presented with The Sweepstakes Championship Banner & Cup which will be a revolving award. Leagues may use the banner for display at their local arenas. The Cup becomes the property of the winning league as does not rotate from champion to champion. The banner shall remain with the champion for as long as the league can retain it. Once a new champion is crowned, the Sweepstakes banner will be relinquished to the new champion.

There is no cost for entry, and no prize money awarded. This one is strictly for braggin rights.
