The
Realist/EBC - Since he hit the MWS scene at the Mega
Bowl in Vegas, The Realist has been consistent in each of
his tournament appearances. And because he is 3-0 vs. Young
Gunz this season, The Realist earns my top spot. |

Young
Gunz/BBO - Hands down, the best stick in the country.
With several tournament championships under his belt in his
first year on the circuit, (including the MegaBowl) Gunz became
the first rookie in the community to be a favorite to win
any tournament he entered. |
 |

LT/NOMB
- LT makes his third appearance in Swam's top 10. The
Nationals III champ was not as dominating as he has been the
past two years, but he is still a threat to win any tourney
he enters. Tillery made it to the Sweet 16 at Nationals V
before falling to Young Gunz. |

DC/BFL
- No other baller has been as consistent over a period of
time as D.C. of The BFL. Since he hit the scene at Nationals
II, D.C. is the only baller in the MWS to make the Swam's
top ten four consecutive years. And in his four appearances
D.C. has charted two elite 8 finishes and a final four appearance. |
 |
| 5 |
Cocky
Lou/BMBT - Known by many as the most prolific passer
in the MWS community, Cocky Lou went into Nationals V as a
strong contender for the title. He did not disappoint before
falling to Young Gunz in the elite 8. |
 |

HOVA/EBC
- HOVA is another newcomer that made his mark in Vegas at
the MegaBowl. His performance at Nationals proved that the
Miami native's final four appearance in Vegas was no fluke.
HOVA advanced to the elite 8 at Nationals V before falling
to D.C. |

Wayne
Walton/KOTC - Wayne Walton had a roller coaster ride of
a 2003 season. From missing a chip shot FG in Vegas that would
have eliminated L.T., to getting the monkey off his back and
nabbing his first KOTC championship, despite his sporadic
play, Walton is still regarded as one of the best in the nation.

Sandman/EBC
- Perhaps the biggest surprise of the tournament was Sandman's
exit in the sweet 16. Although he did lose to a solid Wayne
Walton, Sandman had become the dominant player on the 2003
circuit. The Sandman had either won or placed in nearly every
tournament he entered in 2003. |
 |
| 9 |
The
Champ/EBC - The Champ surprised many taking his #8 seed
all the way to the final 4. Hitting the scene together with
his road dog The Realist, the two North Carolina natives blazed
a trail this 2003 season wrecking shop and earning the respect
of the ballers across the nation. |

MoWash
- Mo's Nationals performance was disappointing. Although Mo
loss in the round of 32 to a stubborn Tuff Tim (BMB), Mo was
expected to at least make the elite 8 if not challenge for
the title. MoWash had finished no less than the final 4 in
all of his major tourney appearances prior to Nationals. |
