NOW WHAT?

Many of you guys may not know this but The Insider gets many a phone calls from guys saying "I am off base", or "I don’t give them or their league any love." Or my favorite, "write something about me for a change 3rd." Well today my article is about just that, many of the guys I don’t say much about. I have heard so many reasons why guys did not win Nationals that I am sick of hearing about it.

A. My guys fumbled it away.
B. Dawg did you see my bracket?
C. Swam stacked the east side of the brackets.
D. The QB draw killed me.
E. It was the damn custom plays that cost me the championship.
F. If it were not for guys setting up and moving his DL to get nano heat I would have won it all.
G. The dude had one play that could not be stopped;
H. He kept getting the ball back on onside kicks.
I. If they had better rules I would go deep in the tourney.
J. The game and game play on this years game sucks 3rd
K. All he did was click on and click off the whole game.
L. Dude just kept audibling down and hitting the TE over and over.

Well this year we expect things to be different with the new rules implemented. The CC worked hard this year to address both the major and minor issues concerning game play. It was trying, and difficult at times. However we believe the table has become leveled somewhat this year.

There are 30 plus guys who I think could win it all this year. I believe with the anticipated low turnout it makes things more interesting for who the new champ may be this season. I mean if only 64 people show, that does not change the fact that you are still the champ.

Lets look at the field; I am going to break them down as follows. The Now Is The Time group... and the next group will be the It's About Time They Won It group.

Lets look at the first group. This is a group of ballers whose time to win the Nationals is late and they should have probably won one by now. They are like an old library book overdue….. They are in no special order. Young Gunz, Champ, Dred, Dis Drew, Winky White, Manny Fresh, T-Funk, Curly Top, Guru, Tommy Gunz, and 40gees, Big Gene, Sandman, Lance, The Natural Jay, Kearny, PC and Reality.

All these guys have come close but for whatever reason (see above) they have not been able to cash the check or hold the trophy. When I look at these quality players, I find no reason why one of these guys can’t win Nationals 7.

Now my second group of players the it’s about time they won it. These are guys who have won other tourneys but have not done well at Nationals. Ormaybe they blew their chance at winning it. They are as follows: Madden Kid, Dasecret, One9, Goldie, Vegeta, Champ, Gooch, Qboy, Young nephew, BookerT, The Specialist, Chow, Collins, 504Will, Lance, Bar None Savetime, Roundy, Rico, Solider.

Never before has there been so many quality players where any of them could win the title. I am sure some of them will call me with a new reason why they lost on Monday the 18th. I just hope it’s not because they were not ready…………….
