J-E-T-S
- JETS! At number 14 it is highly unlikely that before pick 14 any one want the Green and White, unless there is a mysterious Jets fan out there. Or there is the possibility that TDK may try to trade up to get them from 31. Or, maybe Red Rza at 28 can strike a deal to move up ahead of 14...but with who? Uh....thats highly unlikely as well. So it looks like Philly Guy, (who actually resides in the bay area) will get his favorite team without having to do any wheeling or dealing.
Looking at the first 13 picks seems rather obvious. Top Gun will more than likely take the Eagles or Panthers. I expect the Panthers to go 2nd if not #1, and Red Zone Money will more than likely take the best available team, which could be the Pats. If Zone doesn't take the Pats at 3, you can best believe DWilly or Charlie Hustle won't pass on them. And even if they did, Chuggy probably wouldn't. Nevertheless, neither 3 of those ballers would be taking the Jets, unless they are undercover fans. This leaves Jay Kearney at 8, forget it, he certainly wouldn't take them...Wayne Allen at 9 will take the 49ers unless he trades down. This leaves Reality at 10, who would be a cinch to take the Cowboys. Special K, Wacavelli & JDub at 11, 12 & 13 follow respectively. Jets for either one of them......Nah, I don't think so. Thus at pick 14, Philly Guy should be a cinch to get his team. Last season Philly Guy finished with an impressive 11-5 record in his rookie season in the PFL Online, however, that was only good enough for a wildcard berth and second place in the AFC East behind Jay Kearney. But don't look for Philly Guy to have to deal with his division nemesis from last season this go round. More than likely Kearney won't be taking the Patriots, even if they are available at 8. More likely choices could be Chuggy, DWilly, Charlie Hustle, or Red Zone Money. Another team not to sleep on in that division would be the Dolphins. And in the hands of a top rated baller, the Fins could pose a problem for the pesky Jets. Nevertheless, Philly
Guy is not worried about any of that. Give him his The Jets still have the tools for Philly to improve on his 11-5 campaign this season as he set his eyes on a division title. With Pennington, Martin, Becth, Moss and Chrebet, the offense is solid. The strength of the defense may be its front 7, as the secondary remains untested. The key for Philly Guy this season will be getting great play out his defense. If he can do that, look for the Jets to do more than just contend for the AFC East title....they may win the whole damn thing! |
